DES CANDLES STUDIO · BARCELONA EST. 2023

HELLO,WE'REDES.

We are not just a candle studio. We are that plan that starts with an “what if we go?” and ends with a “we have to do this again”.

CREATE · SHARE · LAUGH · EXPERIMENT · REPEAT

THE STORY SO FAR

IT ALL
STARTED
WITH AN
IDEA.

We are Silvia and Alin, the two people behind Des Candles Studio. A project that began with a big wish to create something different, and that is now our small creative universe in Barcelona.

We wanted candle making to be much more than following instructions: a plan to switch off, try new things, come with your friends, your partner or on your own, and take home something you made yourself.

And between mixes, colours, scents and a lot of tests, this was born. Welcome to our world.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND DES

MEET
THE TEAM.

Two people, a thousand ideas, lots of candles and the odd table full of experiments.

Silvia.

CO-FOUNDER

One of the two heads (and pairs of hands) behind Des Candles. Ideas, decisions and lots of enthusiasm poured into every experience.

  • TEAM DES
  • CREATIVITY MODE ON

Alin.

CO-FOUNDER

The other half of the project. Behind every new idea there are also tests, changes of plan and the wish to do it better every day.

  • TEAM DES
  • ALWAYS MAKING THINGS
OUR KIND OF MAGIC

LESS
PERFECT.
MORE YOU.

We love handmade things, unexpected ideas and everyone leaving with something that looks like nobody else’s. Same tables. Zero identical candles.

THINGS WE BELIEVE IN

VERY DES
ENERGY.

  • Getting your hands dirty.

Come to create, experiment and try things without fear.

  • Making lovely plans.

The perfect excuse to really spend time together.

  • Every piece is yours.

We love that every creation has its own personality.

BEHIND THE SCENES

REAL LIFE,
REAL MESS.

NO FILTER NEEDED
ENOUGH ABOUT US. YOUR TURN.

NOW IT'S
YOUR TURN.

Now you know us a little. All that is left is for you to come and create something with us.
